2008 Update

The day job of being an architect has taken a great deal of time away from the art work, but this first quarter time off helps.

I still have prints to do from plates I produced at Crown Point Press in 2006 and hope to get several proofs out this year.

I am taking a letterpress class at the end of February and hope to use some of the fonts and images I have been collecting over the years.

I am no longer a Board member at Seattle Print Arts but have stuck with the Painters Under Pressure SPA Salon group called PUP,

See Exhibits and Prints pages for 2008 Pecha Kucha presentation images and 2006 Oppositions show at Ballard Works.

If you are a printmaker or an aspiring print maker, I would highly recommend joining the Seattle Print Arts organization for excellent information on presses, studios and events for the printmaking community.

I am still using images of bombers, fighters, men, women, peace cranes, wood grain, half circles , 4" x 6" modules as well as other gizmos to make me keep producing.

Recently I have been doing more three dimensional work, using funnels and seeing how paint and substances flow in deep framed works.

I will periodically update the web this year, please keep coming back.
